This French and modern pastry shop in Kiev, Ukraine, is candy to the eyes. Designed by Ukrainian architectural firm 2B.GROUP, THE CAKE features a light neutral background and indie elements in contrast with bold colours and none other than a giant pink Koons-like balloon dog.
Handcrafted design elements and geometric wire chandeliers accompany the colourful monochromatic punch of the sculpture, which quickly sweeps away any doubts: “Only looks like a Koons dog, but it is not”, reads the inscription.
The candy-colored bathrooms are also very inviting! Each one is designed in a different color, one even with polka dots! These are details that make the difference.
