Raw british talent
British designers such as Stella McCartney, Burberry and Vivienne Westwood will be displaying their collections. What was once a trade event has now become a city-wide celebration packed with shows, presentations, installations, showrooms, events and parties from the most important names in the industry.

Green will be the new black
What will Estethica have in store for us this year? The the British Fashion Council’s sustainability initiative will promote this year eight designers, including Flavia La Rocca and her interchangeable ready-to-wear pieces. La Rocca’s design techniques make pieces that can be either unzipped, cropped, elongated or shortened into a completely new look. This process saves 63% energy, 32% CO2 emissions and 94% water, making it one of the most eco-friendly systems in textile manufacturing.

The new kids in town
It’s also an wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity and the newer names, like Huishan Zhang, where Chinese tradition meets Western influence and modernity. Fashion East, with its unrivalled reputation for identifying and supporting the most exciting new names in the industry will also promises to surprise.

The Pop-up Shops
Vivienne Westwood and Markus Lupfer will be exhibiting a customised nestbox you can see in store. You will also find ready to wear accessories from designers such as Bella Freud and Markus Lupfer to take home.

It’s not all about the clothes
Amanda Gerbassi will be showcase her collection of fine gemstone jewellery under the firm Kattri, inspired by Le Corbusier’s Purist Period. With the “quadrant ring” as her signature piece, this new line focuses on geometrical shapes to make each piece boldly unique and eye-catching.
