Frieze Masters:

Just a short walk across Regent’s Park visitors will find Frieze Masters, a fair that gives a contemporary perspective on historical art. As the organisers explain, together the two fairs encourage a crossover between audiences of contemporary and historical art. Frieze Masters will showcase important works from the ancient and medieval era, including a 7,000-year-old Neolithic idol and 1st century AD Torso of Aphrodite, as well as paintings by Old Masters including Cranach the Younger, Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, Jacob Ochtervelt, Peter Paul Rubens and Jacob Isaackz van Ruisdael.
