“Unforgettable Marilyn” or how 8 great photographers captured this icon who never ceases to move and fascinate us. A new exhibition of photographs of Marilyn Monroe titled “Inoubliable Marilyn” is on show at Paris’s La Galerie de l’Instant (December 12, 2014-February 25, 2015).
Over the years, Marilyn Monroe has been the subject of hundreds of books, exhibitions and movies. But she never ceases to move and fascinate us. However, the credit is not all hers. There is a great photographer behind every idol, and this one had a handful.
For some of the best photographers of the 1950s and the 1960s, Monroe served as a springboard for their vision and imagination, and this is fully experienced in this exhibition.

From the first shots of when she was just 20 and terribly shy, to other snapshots that were reflections of the personal style of the photographers.

All the creativity and inspiration that comes though these shots is perhaps what makes Marilyn ‘Inoubliable’.
