THE WISH LIST (V&A)

What have I always wanted in my home, but never been able to find? Thought the designer. Ten illustrious names in design and architecture have each nominated an emerging talent to collaborate on this very open brief. The result is singular pieces like Paul’s Shed, where Paul Smith has teamed up with Nathalie de Level to make this environmental friendly house perfect to catch as many sunlight as possible, for it rotates!!

SCP SIMPLIFIED BEAUTY

Co-curated by SCP founder Sheridan Coakley and British-Japanese designer Reiko Kaneko, the exhibition describes itself as a celebration of “things made as they should be”. The show explores how different cultures approach simplicity and beauty, featuring works from Japan, America and Britain.

100% DESIGN (Earls Court Exhibition Centre)

On it’s 20 edition, 100% Design can boast in being the UK’s biggest design event. It covers interiors, kitchens and bathrooms from top talents and emerging ones. We are looking forward to seeing the auditorium space installation, designed by Benjamin Hubert.

A PLACE CALLED HOME (Trafalgar Square)

What is home? Four acclaimed designers will try to answer this questions: Jasper Morrison, Patternity, Raw-Edges and Stu-dioilse. Commissioned by Airbnb, the four structures will be in Trafalgar Square for five days and range from an interior with the ability to transform into different rooms to a Pigeon fancier’s house.
