This year the 33rd edition of Spain’s International Contemporary Art Fair, will take place from the 19th to the 23rd of February.

An edition that starts with huge expectation as it will be revitalized with the presence of a great number of private collectors, the commitment to purchase from foreign collections and the return of large international galleries to the scene.

In total 219 galleries from 23 countries have chosen ARCO to be the showcase of the latest trends in contemporary art, making it the place to find works by the artists of tomorrow, to acquire pieces by the most forward-thinking artists and to invest in young people who are full of artistic potential.

With this in mind, more than 60 galleries will present one or two artists in their stands within the new General Programme proposal, SOLO/DUO.

Other programs as selections #SoloProjects, #Opening and #FocusFinland will be the protagonists of the week.

Finland will be the guest of honor of the year with a selection of 13 galleries that will bring Finland’s contemporary artistic production to Madrid with a very special program:  #FocusFinland.

Speakers, parties, VIP lounge, after arco, artist talks, gastronomy, artsy, arcogames…. Won’t be missed in this year’s event.

Galleries and museums around the city will display their best exhibits during the fair, opening specially until 22.00. Other fairs taking place this month, as JustMad and Flecha, transform Madrid as the capital of Art.
